Nimmit, a brand with a rich heritage, began its journey in 1975 with just two handloom weavers. Today, they proudly operate approximately 61 looms, specializing in the intricate art of Kala cotton and Mashru weaving. The tribal textiles are crafted using a traditional loin-loom, a back-strap loom favored by hill communities. This method involves securing the warp to a wall or fixed poles, while the other end is tied to the weaver's waist with a belt made of cotton, leather, cane, or bamboo.
