Handcrafted by skilled women artisans from the Batoro tribe in the remote mountains of Western Uganda, each basket is a testament to their dedication and skill. These artisans, part of a cooperative, receive training to support single mothers, widows, and marginalized women, providing them with additional income through basket weaving.

Crafted from all-natural, sustainably sourced raffia and banana fibers, the basket features a unique mix of natural and AZO-free dyes. These dyes, made from plant materials grown in the artisans' villages, require extensive knowledge and skill to produce. The hand-dyed raffia is intricately twisted and wrapped around banana fiber coils, creating stunning designs.

A convenient hanging loop on the back allows for versatile use as wall decor or a tabletop centerpiece. Each basket is handmade at home by the weavers, who balance their craft with household duties, dedicating several hours a day to create these masterpieces. Due to the handmade nature, no two baskets are identical, ensuring each piece is special and unique.
