Round Horn Bowl
Discover the exquisite craftsmanship of our hand-crafted horn bowl, sustainably made from the horns of the Ankole-Watusi cattle, native to western Uganda and East Africa. These unique horns are a recycled byproduct of the food industry, purchased directly from local cattle keepers, providing vital revenue to these communities.
Each horn is meticulously hand-carved and polished by skilled artisans in a Fair Trade cooperative in Uganda, following Maadili designs. The sustainable sourcing of these horns ensures they are upcycled rather than wasted, making each piece environmentally friendly.
The natural variability in horn color means no two bowls are alike, with shades ranging from white to brown to black. This handmade piece requires gentle care, so please hand wash only. With an approximate size of 4.5" x 1.5", this bowl is a perfect blend of tradition, sustainability, and artistry.
